USER GUIDE & SUPPORT Last updated April 22, 2026 This guide explains how to use the DocReader application ("App") and where to obtain assistance. DocReader is a document reader that helps you open, read, and listen to supported files on your device, optionally browse and download public-domain works, and configure text-to-speech ("TTS") for read-aloud. Your library, reading positions, and most settings are stored locally on your device. 1. WHAT IS DOCREADER? In Short: DocReader is a reader for PDF, EPUB, plain text, HTML, and certain other formats, with optional Project Gutenberg integration and on-device read-aloud.
